Group Sales Associate

Hollywood Pantages Theatre, LA's premiere venue for touring Broadway, is looking for upbeat, energetic individuals to join its Group Sales Team.

Qualified candidates will provide customer service and sales assistance for Hollywood Pantages group sales patrons via phone and email. Additionally they will work with the Group Services Supervisor and Group Sales Team to generate new sales opportunities through various outbound efforts including but not limited to phone and email outreach.

Job Qualifications:

  • A dynamic and assertive demeanor along with a love and knowledge of theatre.
  • Superior verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
  • Previous Sales experience and a desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics system helpful, but not required.

Marketing Intern

Hollywood Pantages Theatre, LA's premiere venue for touring Broadway, is looking for upbeat, energetic individuals who are interested in interning with a seasoned live entertainment marketing, PR and promotions team. Basic knowledge of Broadway is encouraged, but not required. Opportunities may include, but are not limited to, maintaining and updating contact lists, coordination of collateral materials, making follow-up and cold calls, basic filing, packing, shipping and MS Office tasks, writing proposals and SWOT analysis, market research and assistance at promotional and press events. Some weekend and evening availability for events is a plus, but not required. Scheduling is flexible, but availability to work at least 3 weekdays for at least 4-8 hours per day is preferred.

Salary:

Parking provided. Internship is non-paid, and all applicants MUST be able to achieve college credit with approval from respective departments in order to participate.

Ushers

Ushers are energetic, articulate people working as front-line goodwill ambassadors for the theatre and our shows. Excellent customer service skills are imperative for this position. Ushers must be able to stand on their feet for long periods of time, read and comprehend printed tickets, lift up to 25lbs, assist patrons to their seats, and speak clearly so as to be able to provide directions and information about the theatre. Ushers must be team players, self-motivated, and able to work in crowds and stressful situations. Typical shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays. $12.00/hr.

The historic Pantages Theatre in Hollywood is looking for energetic, articulate people to be the backstage goodwill ambassadors for performances during our Season. Excellent customer service skills are imperative for this position. Stage Door must be able to monitor the ins and outs of the show and theatre staff, secure the theatre before/during/after a show, and speak clearly so as to be able to provide direction and information about the theatre. Stage Doors must be team players, self-motivated, and able to work with diverse personalities and stressful situations. Typical shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays. $12.00/hr
